Gyuri Kang is a PhD student in Information Science at Indiana University Bloomington. Her research lies in the digital environmental humanities, where she works at the intersection of humanistic inquiry into environmental issues and digital computing. She uses computational and quantitative methods to answer humanistic questions about environmental problems by looking at our social and cultural relationships with the natural world mediated by texts, media, and history.
